Scala Worcester
This project involved designing construction hoardings for a prominent arts venue in Worcester. I liased with several external arts organisations and suppliers directly, as well as the team at the council.
I was provided with the logo, colour palette, and font by local design agency, F8. I decided to use the cube motif from the logo as a device across the hoardings to add visual interest and reinforce the brand - these hoardings were one of the first physically realised representations of the brand, since the venue is still in construction.
We used photos of local people provided by the arts organisations, to represent Scala's values. Since accessibility is normally a part of my work, I also made sure the text was an appropriate scale for reading at a distance, and accessible contrast was used.
